Thankfully we haven't gotten the question from other people too often. I had always thought I'd want a second child, but I'm loving all this time I get to spend with Zoe, and like you, I'm scared of getting on that trying to conceive roller coaster from infertility hell again. I think you've said it well - I'm just so happy, do I want to compromise that with the unhappiness that I know comes with fertility treatments and negative pregnancy tests? I still haven't decided, but I've kind of given myself permission to not decide yet. We're not at the point where we'd want to start trying anyway, but we're rapidly approaching it, and the question has been nagging at me more and more lately.

I loved reading how happy you are spending time with your girl. She sounds wonderful.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685543614137191718.post-64151021411418721712008-07-23T04:00:00.000-07:002008-07-23T04:00:00.000-07:00Yes, it's the tough question to have another or no...Yes, it's the tough question to have another or not. We've been working off and on for #2 for 8 years (not to scare you - we did take quite a few years off for fun sex and alternative medicine and I feel much stronger this time around).

BTW, your baby will always need you. It's odd, I didn't feel the need to be a stay at home mom when my daughter was a baby, but now that she's in elementary school, I feel I want to be there for her all the time that she's not in school. There are so many changes going on in her life and I want to be there for her. And I may not be able to rock her to sleep, but she does love a good cuddle in bed.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07843760065614670505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685543614137191718.post-73693842370983252012008-07-22T15:15:00.000-07:002008-07-22T15:15:00.000-07:00Oh girl, I have already gotten a hand full of ques...Oh girl, I have already gotten a hand full of questions regarding baby #2 and Danny is only 4 months old! Geeze people, let me figure out this babe before I have another one!

I am right with you. I don't know if I want to go through IVF again to get #2. Just thinking about the whole process makes me tired!Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12424867867454473982noreply@blogger.com
